Why We Have the Cheapest PMS on the Market

RentOS Team·

Most mid-term rental operators end up with the same software bill, they just never add it up in one place.

A PMS to run the day to day. A separate channel manager to push rates and availability out to the OTAs. A CRM or lead tool to keep the pipeline full. A maintenance app for the field team. A payments layer to reconcile deposits and owner statements. By the time a single unit is actually under management, that is five subscriptions and five logins.

RentOS is priced the way it is because we didn't want to sell software that way.

The stack RentOS replaces

Picture what an operator normally has to stitch together to run a portfolio of monthly stays: a channel manager billed per connected listing to keep calendars in sync, a CRM or a marketplace listing fee to keep demand coming in, a ticketing tool to log and assign repairs across properties and vendors, and a separate accounting layer to collect rent, hold deposits, and produce owner statements that actually match what happened operationally.

Most PMS platforms leave all of that outside the core product, then sell it back through an integrations marketplace. We built RentOS to keep it inside the plan instead.

What "inside the plan" actually means

The OTA connections and smart lock integrations that keep your calendar, rates and access in sync are part of the base plan, not something metered per channel.

Maintenance and incident reporting sit in the Operations module, right next to reservations and guest messaging, so your team isn't jumping into a second app to check on a repair.

Sales comes from Rent Remote, the marketplace RentOS is built on top of. Properties managed in RentOS get listed to real mid-term demand, digital nomads, relocating employees, corporate travelers, at zero commission on the booking.

And payments, deposits and per-owner statements live against the same tenancy record that generated them, so there's one ledger to check at month end instead of three that need reconciling by hand.

Why the price stays low

Free covers up to 10 properties. Pro is $79 a month for up to 30 properties and 10 connected units. Scale is $149 a month for up to 100 properties and 25 connected units. Enterprise is custom and unlimited for portfolios beyond that.

Line that up against paying separately for a channel manager, a lead tool and a maintenance app on top of a base PMS fee, and the RentOS number stops looking like a discount. It's simply what one flat plan costs when the pieces other platforms sell as add-ons are already the product.

Why this pricing works

RentOS exists because Rent Remote exists. Rent Remote is a marketplace generating real mid-term demand, remote workers, relocating employees, corporate housing bookings, and RentOS is what lets a provider fulfil that demand without hiring a second team to run the operations behind it.

That changes what we need to charge for. A PMS that only earns money from the subscription has to price every module separately, because the module fee is the business. A PMS that also runs the operating layer of a marketplace earns money when properties get booked, so the subscription can stay flat while the incentive stays where it should: sending you more guests, not more invoices.

It's also why the price doesn't need to climb as a portfolio grows past the entry tier. RentOS grows when your occupancy grows, so charging more for the software the moment a portfolio scales up would just work against that.

What this means for you

If you're currently paying for a PMS, then paying again for a channel manager, then again for lead generation, then again for a maintenance tool, the RentOS plan isn't competing with your PMS bill. It's competing with the total of all four.
