About us

We build the system mid term operators actually needed.

RentRemote started inside a rental operation, not a software company. RentOS is the tool we kept wishing existed: one place for contracts, monthly stays, channels, and the paperwork that comes with tenants who stay for months rather than nights.

Our story

Built from the operator's side of the desk.

Hotel software counts nights. Long term software counts years. Mid term rentals sit in between, and for a long time the people running them had to force one of the two into a shape it was never designed for: lease clauses hidden in note fields, deposits tracked in spreadsheets, calendars that could not express a three month stay.

We ran that operation ourselves. Every part of RentOS exists because something broke: a deposit nobody chased, a contract signed against the wrong dates, a unit double booked across two channels. We fixed those problems for our own portfolio first, then turned the fixes into a product.

Today RentOS is the leading platform in mid term rentals, used by operators running furnished apartments, flex living buildings, and student housing.

What we believe

Three commitments we design against.

We check each one before anything ships.

Purpose built beats adapted

We never bolt mid term concepts onto a nightly booking model. Contracts, monthly billing, and long stays are first class objects in the data model.

A single reservation record holding the contract, payments and deposit for a stay

The record has to hold up

Deposits, invoices, documents, and access logs are the evidence an operator relies on when something is disputed. We treat that record as the product, not as a byproduct.

Small teams first

Most of our customers run large portfolios with small teams. Every feature has to earn its place by removing work rather than adding another screen to check.
